Just a word of warning to anyone sending an item back to Meade USA for repair....don't expect to get it back quickly! Even with an agreed RGA number.

Despite the best efforts of the guys at BC&F it is coming up to one year since my Coronado filter arrived at Meade for repair. It had developed 'rust' and I was told it would be a replacement. I have phoned Meade (California) 6 times in the year and been told that the filter was in California, Mexico, on its way back to me. Next call after another 6 weeks it was back in Mexico again!

1st anniversary on June 7th, I will post if it arrives by then!

Meade just returned my Coronado filter!! It made it home in just under a year but the view the other day was worth the wait! Thank goodness solar activity is picking up again.
