i was looking for a replacment for my Handset on my CG5 will this do and also i get a Guider port in with the deal !

Yes i believe it will, but be warned the PE on the CG5 is high compared to the HEQ5/6 mounts

Periodic Error - This is a matter of manufacturing tolerances - no gear system is perfectly formed and no matter how accurately produced the motor and gears may be, they will not move at exactly the correct speed ad infinitum. Regular errors are introduced by these imperfections called ‘Periodic Errors’ as they happen over a regular period of time.

Dont get me wrong, it will work and you should be able to get a guiding setup out of it. I use a CG5 with a handset i modded myself following the instructions in Steve's book and the Shoestring GPUSB unit.
