Meade DSI with Celestron

Recommended Posts

I use a DSI pro Mk1 as my guide camera, and very good it is.

You do have to put a bit of strain relief on the USB cable with DSI's though, as the socket isn't great and it's easy to lose connection.

I have simply doubled mine back on itself and taped it to the side of the camera.

Cheers

Rob

I use DSI I and II C's and use Blutack and an elastic band to secure the leads...The blutack keeps the connector "square" to the body and the loop back and elasticband provide a bit more strain relief...

I use a GPUSB and PHD to guide my CPC800 via the ST4 compatible guide port.....

I have "designed" and made or had made several wedges for field and observatory use...
