Hi to all, :o

A few photos, to bring every up to speed on my ROR build.

With the dry weather today, I managed to make the internal door frame.I will cover both sides with hardboard and fill it with loft insulation.

Both floors have now been lined with hardboard, ready for carpet tiles.(After wall painting)

Last two photos show the view into the warm room and a view from the warm room into the obs.

The END is in sight!!

But a load of niggling, time consuming jobs slows my progress...

Wayne

Hi to all, :p

First thing : I HAVE POWER:hello2::(:hello2::(

Electrics are all done and finished...

As per photos, warm room door has been insulated, lined, hung and painted.

All walls are also now painted.

As I will be still using my scope for visual work,I picked a dark colour to help with night vision.

If anyone is interested, the colour was 'Liquorice'

I have also spray painted my pier gloss black.

Garys pier adaptor now has pride of place on top of the pier :(

Next up : Carpet tiles

My obs build is nearing the end!! :(

Carpet tile floor is down.....

One of my mates brought a job lot of carpet tiles which were gathering dust in his garage.

I offered to buy some off him,but he said "take what you need!"

I think he was glad just to get rid of a few boxes...

I did not have much colour choice.

But I cannot grumble,they were free!. :(

Last few photos shows my obs with the ROR open.

I still need to fit the guttering.

But I cannot wait,I AM MOVING IN.........

A big thanks goes out to everyone following my build :D

You've done a very nice job there, it's so satifying to have built it yourself. I built mine about 3 years ago , we get some pretty rough weather and it's all stayed water tight. We have a similar design though my warm cupboard it very tiny. It's so nice to walk outside and be observing within minutes.

Wayne,

Absolutely Superb!!

You should achieve some awesome Imaging in there, can`t wait to see the results.

I just hope my setup goes to plan (I am going to cheat though and go for the SkyShed Pod option as my DIY skills are not good!!)

Well done getting it finished, I`ve been following your progress with great interest.
