Leo Triplet

[Beyond_Vision]

With the weather and Moon phase being against imaging, I haven't been able to collect any RGB with my new camera. So I decided to combined my Leo Triplet luminance data taken at SGL5 with some colour data from last spring

Luminance 20x5mins

Colour 21x 10mins

Registered with Registar and combined and finished in PSCS3.

3h30 for colors, it is long; why not filter wheel?

I havent had chance to get any colour data with the Atik Mono camera yet so I used data for the RGB from a oneshot colour CCD.

It's good. I agree with Gerard regarding the blue but what excellent faint stuff you can see around M66. Lovely. The camera seems great.

The tweek of the blue does it for me also!

Love the colours and the control over the larger stars...
