Hi Anthony, welcome to sgl... have a read through all the threads and gradually it all begins to make sense, ive only recently got back into astronomy after a very long break (i last looked through a rubbish tasco telescope aged 14, im now 40 and about to get a 12" skyliner dob...) I think the best way to learn your particular scope is just to get out as much as you can (weather permitting) and just point your scope at something. Download stellarium which is a real time star chart which will tell you what constellations and planets are in your vicinity, its free and i find it really useful. Apart from that just ask anything you want, theres no such thing as a silly question. the only silly question is the one you didnt ask. Theyre a really friendly bunch on here and so knowledgable... I hope you enjoy your stay here and your new hobby as much as i do.. beware though, its addictive! Clear Skies !
