A.N./ Ian Morrison iOptron review - good!

There's a great review of the Alt-Az iOptron minitower in Astronomy Now this month. The tower itself sounds really great and Prof Morrison's review is a delight, detailed but capturing the fun of the thing and - joy of joys - not beginning with opening all the cardboard boxes. It's bad enough opening new toys for real, wading through paper and bubble wrap. Reading about it is even worse!!

Oh, the 'Opening the box...' thing was okay for while, I thought, having something of the striptease about it (!) but like all things written it can become tiresome when repeated. Ofsted seem to want all teachers to begin a lesson by stating their aims and objectives - which meant that that was something I NEVER did on principle. Poor kids, the same intro once an hour for five years. Groan.
