Moon, Mercury and Venus

I think I got everything, even if its a bit faint and fuzzy.

Trying this imaging thing gives a lot of respect to those that get really good crisp and contrasty images.

John, that's come out nicely. I can't make out Mercury, but I know it's there.

What was this shot with and what were the settings ?

Its taken with a Canon 5d, 24-105mm zoom at 105, mounted on a Manfrotto tripod with geared head. Exposure was something like ISO 400 f8 1.5secs, but i'll have to check that when I get home.

It looks like the upload has reduced the resolution, so that would be why Mercury isn't visible, mind you its pretty faint in the original.

Is there a way to upload the full resolution image?

Not sure about on the galleries here John.. you can on somewhere like photobucket or flickr.

The reason I ask, I hope you don't mind, it looks like you need to clean your sensor...

Yes it does look like I need my sensor cleaned, I'll have to look into that.
