Short report today, the Sun is fairly quiet - disc blank in white light, and not far off featureless in CaK

Ha reveals interesting filaments scattered around the north west of the disc

Transparency fair (despite volcanic ash cloud!) but with frequent interference from thin drifting low cloud. Seeing bad with moderate rapid & variable but occasionally severe slow boiling. Temperature 12C, wind NE force 3-4.
