I have just finished the last job - stain the deck. The build has taken exactly 11 weeks and has cost - well I stopped counting at £1500!

Was it worth it? YES!

Could I have done it cheeper? HELL YES!

One of the main design decisions was security - Im not in the best location 1/4 of the houses in the street are boarded up and empty, the 2 behind us (see pics) are derilict shells, SoI didn't want a 'garden shed', way to flimsy, hence the construction grade timbers used throughout the build, the outside cladding is 3/4" thick, now I know that nothing is going to be theft-proof but its a major deterrant and most of the lazy sods round here wont bother.
