Another good reason for an obs!

As the title says...I have just managed to drag 'Her Indoors' out and into the obs for a look at Saturn...in her PJ's and dressing gown! Wouldn't have been able to do that a while ago, she thought I was mad stood out half the night in the garden freezing my bits off.

She was getting into it as well, got it down to a 4mm EP cos she wanted to see it closer!

Wish i could afford a scope, let alone an obs. I can but dream though! Congrats all the same

Wish I had a garden worthy of an obs. Great stuff, it must draw in quite an interest from friends anf family... always a good thing in this astronomy malarky :-)

careful there martin.. by the sounds of that it could lead to more time in the observatory, but less of it doing astronomy
