Do any of you listen to music when you go out for a nights viewing?

I usually take my Ipod and have Lordi blasting full blast in my ears and I look at the delights of the sky.

Though the problem is I usually and up singing to it!

(Ok I know it's sad like heavy metal monsters )

You're not the only one that listens to music, Kain. I did, but my receiver died a while back. I had a, cough, cassette player I'd use a lot. A lot of classical, a lot of classic rock and talk radio. Depending on what I was doing, the volume could get quite loud. If it was photometry, I had to turn it down so it wouldn't jiggle the scope. I could actually see the image jiggle on the low notes if I was just doing variable stars or looking at stuff I'd seen before.
