Lunar Images - 24-03-10

Hello everyone,

These Moon pictures were taken by my friend Aaron. He is 11 and took these afocal images through a C80ED and an 8-24 zoom eyepiece.

I think they are pretty good and we are keen to share them with you.

These are Aaron's first astro images. Comments welcome....

That's excellent - miles better than my first attempt to lunar imaging. Nice one Aaron.

A bit more info. These were taken using a Nikon Coolpix 995 and the eyepiece was an unbranded 8-24mm Zoom. The C80ED was borrowed from me and he was using my Vixen Porta Mount. These were shot from a pretty light polluted part of Glasgow (probably less of an issue on Lunar but hey!!)
