Mechanical rotation counter??

Has anyone come across a mechanical rotational counter which has a knob at one end and an "output" shaft at the other.

The idea would be to have a bi-direction display of the number of rotations of the knob while the output shaft is connected to a focusser etc.....

The Veeder-Root #7287 seems to come close but is not bi-directional:(

Only ones I know of are for adding a digital readout to multi turn potentiometers...
