Moon and M45 20-03-10

Finally a clear, wind free and non frosty night! Two setups used: WO 110 Megrez with Nikon D40 and an Astrotrac with Pentax ist DL and 200mm lens.

Bit of a hodgepodge of images but enjoyable to image nonetheless.

Nice set of images Sheri, and glad you could get out and grab something

I particularly like the M45/earthshine one.

Have you had a bash at making a composite and adding the unstretched moon too?

You'd have to remove the crescent moon, then stretch the image to show the earthshine, and then add the unstretched crescent.

It'd take a bit off fiddling around to get the selection right, but maight be worth having a crack at.
