Nice one BoB, I find them quite mesmerising, such a shame the real solar observing kit is so costly and us mere mortals have to make do with Baader filters. Still. beats dodgy glass EP inserts. I'll be making some solar filters for the 20x50s we have here on the rig, next time home.

Yes, have to agree, using even the little PST was amazing today, especially with a barlow in. My mrs is more impressed by the sun than by anything else astronomical
