Neat Image software - good!

Hi,

I have just bought and tried out Neat Image noise reducing software. I like it! The major cameras have noise profiles in a library online, which will probably suit DSLR users, but for unknown cameras all it does is find a uniform bit of the image and create a noise profile for your camera based on that. You then have some sliders to play with, a preview function, a bofore-and-after button and Bob's your uncle.

Of course, you don't have to apply it all to all parts of the image if you have Ps or similar. You can use Layers to select noise reduced parts of the image for final application. Neat Image itself is not selective - it applies the algorithm to all the image.

It really does work and learning the basics takes minutes.
