A day of M94(NGC4736), The ‘Cat’s Eye’ galaxy.

That little tweak has probably turned it into an APOD candidate Rob.

Gwaan!Gwaan!, you know you want to.;).

Ron:).

Not enough bling on it Ron....I'd need to crank the saturation and put huge diffraction spikes all over it :):D:D

Don't you want to just add that missing 37 minutes and then you can list the imaging time as......

One DAY...

Your post reminded me that I'd forgotten to factor in all the 1 minute core subs and the Ha ones to....so it is in fact 25 hours and 40 minutes ;)

;) - amazing. Crisp detail, superb colour balance and what a wealth of information. If you look carefully, you can actually see Fireball XL5 orbiting one of those stars.

Makes me realise just what a beginner I am at this hobby.

Phil (Pjshep) over on UKAI kindly ran this through Megastar, and identified some of the galaxies....looks like the brighter ones are mag 17.

The faintest stars visible are below mag 20.

Not bad for a 6 inch!!

Cheers

Rob
