Mars on the NHS

A friend and fellow astronomer of mine has recently been in hospital, so to help cheer him up

I produced the following watercolour paintings of Mars. Each one took around 4-5 hours to produce.

I have never been happy with the computer scanning process which always seems lacking.

So I'm doing a lot of experimenting, I think the results are better than my previous attempts,

but I'm still not happy, so it remains a work in process.

However, they did make a different "get well card" compared to the run of the mill ones you buy.
