Anything under £800 and the buyers got a bargain. I've always fancied an Apo, I just can't see how they can be *THAT* good to warrant the money though. I might stretch to an ED one day, just to see what all the fuss is about!

Big refractor? ST102 never lol, i sold the C6-R matey a while back.

I know wha you mean about the cost, i have the thought's of why get an APO if seeing conditions for at least my site are never that good to take advantage of a APO setup if you get my meaning?

I know what you mean about the 'seeing'. also i can't see how a 4" Apo can be that much better than a 5" Achro with a minus violet filter? Maybe I'm just a philistine!!?
