Almost unfortunate it has made slightly "Cinderella" scopes of it's sister MAK102 and MAK150. I sense the former would provide a slightly better weight match for the Synscan GoTo (and a tad more field) - The latter would just have the edge on the DSO's the 127 begins to show. Frankly, I'd love to try them ALL, but...

Got mine in January a good little pick up and go scope. I find getting a sharp focus sometimes a problem at high mag would love to have dual speed focus. All in all a great little scope.

I've got the Orion (USA) SVP127, which is basically the same telescope. It compliments my 80ED beautifully.
