Hi gazers, here's a little project I've been working on over the last couple of months.

1. H-alpha (18 January 2010)

2. H-alpha and OIII (7 March 2010)

Added 21x900s of OIII. H-a is mapped to red, OIII mapped to blue, a synthetic green was created using Noel Carboni's actions.

3. Hubble palette (9 March 2010)

Added 21x900s of SII data. SII is mapped to red, Ha to green and OIII to blue, the classic 'Hubble palette' colour scheme.

And finally, a montage of all three:

Equipment for all images: William Optics Megrez 90FD, WO MkIII reducer, Starlight Xpress SXV-H9 CCD, EQ6 Pro, Astronomik narrow band filters.

Really nice!!

Great way to present the images too, it's awesome to compare 'em side by side. I really liked the HaO3 version, what parameters are used when creating/mixing the green channel? I belive it's different from mapping the RGB to HaO3O3, right?

Great job, keep 'em coming
