Galaxy Grouping

Found the fainter Messier galaxies in Leo: M95, M96, M105 and NGC3384 last week from a dark sky site on Salisbury Plain using my homemade 8.5" reflector.

It was wonderful to have 4 galaxies immediately adjacent to each other and almost in the same field of view. All four are small and faint, not a patch on the nearby Leo Triplet but still spectacular in their own way.

Sketch was made onto paper, photographed, turned into negative and touched up with photoshop.
