The Sky at Night - 23.45 Tonight

Just a quick reminder for those who like to see it first before it's on the i-player. Tonight SPM debates the question of life in the universe.

It's been a good night for astronomy programs with Wonders of the Solar System on earlier followed by The sky at Night. Which is just as well because as usual I've had wall to wall cloud tonight after very clear skies all day. :headbang:

Here is the link for those who missed Wonders of the Solar System well worth a watch. :p

Saw Wonders of the Solar System last night, hmmmm, long on atmosphere, sometimes short on information. It would appear that most of the budget was expended on travel to exotic locations whose relevance was not always obvious. Amusing to see Health and Safety dictating life jacket use at all times even if it looked a little incongruous at times. More of a "coffee table magazine" than a solid look at the science, physics and astronomy. IMHO.
