Obs Build - Phase 2 Completed!

Having filled in the old pond (with the diggings from the new pond) I have constructed the framework and decked over the area ready for the obs build proper - at last!

I had to deck the area around the obs because there is an 18inch drop over about 12 feet at the back of the garden and I used the front wall of the pond as a support for the framework.

The obs will be at the left rear of the deck(the bit with polythene covering the osb flooring in the 2nd picture

So Ive gone from a right mess to less of a mess in a weekend!

Looks like fire damage - one way of getting them to turn off the bathroom light that the kids leave on all evening !!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way are you putting a pier in the ground or just mounting the scope on the decking??

The pier is going in the ground, the hole is dug awaiting concrete. I would never put it on the decking, it would bounce around to much
