Rosette HaRGB - Collaboration

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I just showed NickH my Ha data, and he offered his RGB data from a previous shoot...

The Ha data is 8 panes through my Genesis in Ha with the SXV-H9. The RGB data is taken with an Atik 4000 on an ED70 by Nick.

After a bit of playing, I came up with this...

2010-03-01-NGC2237-8PaneMosaic-Ha9x600-process1-NickColour-Small.jpg

For those that like a more natural colouring, here is a none played-with version:

2010-03-01-NGC2237-8PaneMosaic-Ha9x600-process1-NickColour2-Small.jpg

Click for large version...

Comments welcome!

Cheers,

Richie and Nick

Stunning! It really does look like a gaseous nebula, all wispy and ethereal. It can be made to look far too solid but certainly not in this delicate rendition. Delightful image and superb mosaic technique.

I am so happy to see the Genesis in such loving hands.

Amazing image!

That shot went really deep on nebula´s structure. Very well done!
