Quick (very) first-light with my Revelation 80

Out between 9 and 2am, playing with my Revelation 80. Very impressed with the build quality and feel of the scope. Smooth focusser, including the rotating side of it. Views were really nice, and in the 2" 30mm, a joy to see that much sky!!

Took some images though it, which I'll post up over the weekend.

Off to Rays Rings for some, well, rings really!!!!

(And boy, was it nice to be out under the stars )

Is this the same scope as seen at the first SGL SP Daz? if so it's a cracker of a scope and looks miles better than a ED80 imho.

You know yuppies have apos set up in their studies? Until my shed arrives I've got a 14" Dob in my living room......it doesn't have the same effect (I can't see the TV for a start!!)
