Rosette Nebula ed 80

First time I've imaged this one. Taken last night through an ed80 . 80 mins in total with 50 mins Ha. I used an atik 314L and a meade f6.3 reducer. There is some edge distortion but it was the best way I had to get a wide field. Trevor

It is nice, yes. Very natural and unforced. I think there is a red domination which may be costing you a bit of star colour but the shot is a beauty none the less.

One way to get round the chip size is to get Registar and do mosaics. My first effort along those lines was the Rosette.
