EQ 3-2 Drives single or dual?

I'm looking at getting a drive for my EQ3-2. Is there much benfit in going for dual drives?

I have dual drives but I'm using only main req drive. For declination it's much better to do it by hand, than by that slow drive for me.

Hi Hubble,

Providing you level the mount, and polar align, the one motor approach works very well. I bought a polar alignment scope instead for my E3-2, and this proved to be a good investment.

I would just get dual drives, the difference in cost is minimal and then you have them if wanted.

Also seems pointless to drive one by a handset then manually adjust the other even if it is quick.
