hi I am going to modify a microsoft lifecam for use with my skywatcher 127. I am having trouble finding eyepiece extension barrels (pic attached), as I am new to all this I might be searching for the wrong thing could someone point me in the right direction.

cheers

If you have a 1.25" barlow lens, often you can unscrew the "lens" part leaving a perfectly acceptable extension tube.

The same goes for most 2" barlows (but you'll need a 2" focuser for that to be useful).

Teleskop Service (Germany) have 1.25" filter threaded threaded extenders on their site but I don't think you need that ... if the idea is just to get the camera to the focus plane then a 1.25" extender tube is probably what you want - like this: Antares 1.25 diameter extention tube | Telescope Accessories | Rother Valley Optics

thanks for the info and links, the eyepiece extenders are only used to house the web cam internals and make it easy to attach to the telescope without adapters, apparently it is a nice snug fit.
