help with orion

[astronomer]

hi all i see on this forum some where that some take pictures of orion

for 5 min and 30 to 40 min to bring out detail.i use a meade dsi and

a 80 skywatcher if i do an exposure for more then 1min the hole screen

gos white so how is this done.thanks in advance for any help.john
