Televue Nagler 3-6mm zoom - opinions

Russ - I am hoping to come down to salisbury just for the day on the 14th August to meet SGL members to say hello. Hopefully, if someone has a Nagler zoom at the star party I might get a chance to view.

Always fancied trying one of the Nagler Zooms but their focal length has never really suited my scope. The 6mm end is already at 253x. But hopefully someone may have one at the Salisbury SP.

But I would really love to get my hands on another Speers 5-8mm zoom but the Series II this time. Absolute sweet spot for my scope (190-300x).

I've got the mk 1 but what are the differences between that and the mk 2 apart from the silver colour change?

I checked out moonshanes 3-6mm Nagler zoom recently and though it was excellent. Thumbs up from me and I wouldn't mind one for when I need more than the 5mm the speers gives me.

The powermate with the speers is just crazy so I think the speers and nagler zoom would complement each other nicely.
