It's now a power point presentation!

Remember that email that was going around since 2003, describing the coming close approach of Mars? WELL, today I got a power point presentation of that email, complete with pictures. It uses the same text as the email, complete with the bad line break that leaves you with the impression that you can just look up and see Mars as large as the Moon, on August 27th. It even has a picture of Mars beside the Moon. And music. It gives the date of the close approach as August 27, 2006! I wonder why anyone bothered to make a ppt of this hooey.

A few people in the office got it. One of them was a person to whom I had sent a detailed rebuttal of the email version late last summer. She'd forgotten.

Aaaaargh! *whimper*
