I would stick with free stellarium, can be watched nicely on a computer screen, projection in a room not designed for that sort of thing could be a nightmare IMO.

Another recommendation for Stellarium from me. Very easy to learn exactly what is what in the sky, as it shows you what is there at the time you are looking out.

And its free :)

Stellarium gets my vote, its on my laptop so it can be taken anywhere, the lidil planetarium is resticted to well, home.
