CPC800 tracking query

I have used the above scope a few times now but never a long period of time on one object.

If I zoom in on an area of say the moon then want to take pictures I take it the mount will actually track where I was looking.

The mount will track as you described. You will need to set the tracking mode to lunar on the HC to allow the mount to track the moon.

If you align the scope then GOTO the Moon, it should track it at the correct speed without you having to do anything else.
