Last night it rained. So, instead of capturing Mars, I decided to sit down and rationalise my workflow on Mars. This image was taken at 22:00 on Feb 1st under good seeing conditions...

Amazing. Really shows what a C14 can do when used by a real expert!

I contacted our observatory (on the roof of my office building) and they say they have a huge problem with dome-seeing. The heat emanating from the building complete wrecks the seeing until after 3 AM (bleh). What a shame of a 16" RC. And now new rain and sleet is on its way.

The big one is 150% original size, yes. As for being bigger than Jupiter, not if I resize that by 150% and do a mosaic
