dark knight
Absolutely wonderful image Rog, mono looks stunning, the wispy details are fantastic, every bit as good as any of the colour versions. Can I please ask roughly what settings you use for gain and brightness in the camera settings, I'm just embarking on imaging with an Atik 1HSII after purchasing the shoestring guiding interface and would appreciate any tips you can give.carl

CELESCOPE
Hi Carl, no settings like that to do on the ccd, just the exposure time, and binning , 1x1 binning, for the highest resolution, basically using the right filter and the rest and hardest is the processing.Rog
barkis
"Rosie, Oh Rosie, it's nice to see your picture once again"."In Mono It's frightening, like Thunder and Lightning""And The Langdon Hills must be free of Rain".Nice Image again Rog. Thought I'd put it to the tune of the Old song By Don Partridge, a one man Band guy from a few years ago.Hope you don't mind mate.Ron..
