Cog alignment on EQ5 synscan upgrade

Hi all.

I`m after a little more advice on the upgrade. I`m in the middle of fitting the upgrade to the EQ5 as i type(son has chicken pox :D, so week off work :)).

I`ve fitted the dec motor and i`ve lined up the cogs no dramas. Now i`ve fitted the RA motor and the cogs engage only on roughly 3/4 of the surface. I cant move the smaller cog or the motor over any more to fully engage the teeth. Does anyone think this will cause me any problems?

This is as far as i can engage the teeth

Andy,

Is it possible to re-set the transfer cog on the motor

Perfect. 2 small allen bolts on the motor (that i didnt look for :)) and a tiny adjustment and the cogs line up perfect.

Thanks very much Merlin.
