Info on these eye pieces.

Can anyone give me more info on these eye pieces.

I have just bought a set ot eye pieces so now dont need these.

What series are they and what are they worth?

They are Meade 4000's.

Sold as two eyepiece sets by scopes and sky's for about 40 quid for a pair new.

They have white lettering on all these eyepieces instead of yellow.

Why not keep them. They aint doing anyone any harm. I've never seen EP's with sizes of x.4 before.

The look almost as cheap (maybe slightly cheaper) then the Celestron Plossl' you get with the Celestron "eye Opener" Kit..............which in MY mind are quite good.

I'd hang on to them.

Views are really good with them so just going to keep them.

Put them to one side and take them to the star parties and use them there. That way if you loose one or they get damaged or dropped at least it won't be one of your more expensive ones...
