BinoViewers on a Z80 Clone

Recommended Posts

I've got an Antares Sentinel, which is a Z80 clone, similar to a WO 80mm telescope, but with a focal length on 480mm. I'm thinking about getting a binoviewer for it, but was wondering about the in-focus travel on my focuser. I understand that you need to have quite a wide focal range for them to work.

I'm intending to use the binoviewer for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing, but wondered if anyone else has used one on such a small scope with a short focal length.

Any advice about compatibility or potential problems would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Mark
