Hi,

I not sure if this should be in the DSO or Wide Field Section...maybe both...

Here's my first go at the North American Nebula (NGC-7000). It was taken with the Canon XT (un-modded) through a 105mm Canon lens. The camera was piggyback onto the LX-90. This is approx. 1 hour + of exposures with about half taken at ISO 800 and the other @ 1600. Most of the individual exposures were 75 sec each...Some were 120 sec....I kind of just guessed at it. Overall, I'm fairly please since this camera doesn't do Red things very well.

well done there Doug , thats a hard one for your set up , but it can be plainly seen , so excellent result i think , noels actions for the colour i presume

Hi Rog,

Thanks for the nice comments...I was surprised to get as much color as I did...But, Noel's Actions are always used on my images now...We need more actions.........

I think I posted the actual fov shot from the 105mm in another section or on the UKAI site...This is a big one.
