Don't think so but you should be able to find someone who has put their scope on a pier and no longer needs the tripod (like me in a couple of months if all goes well!)

No you can't. The importers will not supply a tripod on its own. I tried. However, I did manage to get a complete mount/tripod from someone who had bought it as part of package and did not require it. Brand new at a very reasonable price. I just stuck an ad in the 'wanted' section and within a couple of days the deal was done.
