Actually seeing any potential scopes in the flesh should help in making a descision. Bear in mind that most of us here will suffer, at some time from aperture fever, which will overide any other practical considerations such as portability, ease of use etc. As many have said already the best scope for you is the one you will use.

THAT is sooooooooo true. It really does not matter about the apeture. The scope you can afford,transport,setup and use with most ease IS the best investment.
