what software for STITCHING

can anyone advice as to what the best stitching software is?

I have got 77 images of the moon and MS composer is not able to put them together.

Anyone help with the problem please.....

I've used MS ICE without any difficulty and PS CS3 Photomerge, though on occasion I've had to build in sections then save and do a final construct, if that makes sense. I don't know why but I have never managed to get iMerge to work for me ?????

I have use MS Image Composite Editor with great effect on the moon and stitched together panoramas I have taken of Edinburgh and Cartegena. I have found it uncanilly accurate and what's more its free!

I finally fixed MS composer problem and it compiled the mosaic nicely

Make sure you have the latest version and set camera motion option to one of the planar options rather than rotation...

I downloaded MS-ICE and gave it a quick go with two images to stitch. It worked very well and ran virtually automatically. I'll give it another test on numerous images some day soon.
