The Great Carina Nebula

Recommended Posts

10 x 5 minute subs stacked. Darks and flats subtracted.

The Great Carina nebula is a diffuse nebulae between 6,500 and 10,000 light years away. Designated NGC 3372, this nebula contains the bright and massive star, Eta Carina.

Captured early December from ASIGN Observatory with an ED120mm telescope and an Orion Starshoot CCD camera.

What magnificence there is out there in our home Galaxy huh?

You've done it again Baz, well captured....magnificence indeed! :hello2:

Your Observatory project and some of the videos you have made, have been some of the most memorable threads I have seen on this forum this year.
