I go away a week and am completely out of touch. Massive load of images, very impressive. Well done to everyone. So it was clear skies here then

Sailed over the channel from Brittany Wednesday night and it was a humdinger of a sky. Milky way chalky white. M31 and double cluster easily visible with direct vision. Looked superb through the binos - when I wasn't being pitched about.

Felt quite jealous of you guys back here but being away had it's compensations!!
