Hi all

An amazingly clear and dark night last night. Star jump from midnight till about 3am blown away with the views and frozen to the bone. Felt like Christmas had come early. Sorry for rant just had to tell some one;):D:)

A cold scope:eek:

The outside of the kit was all covered in frost by the end of the 11 hour imaging session. Luckily the astrozap dewhield/heater from FLO managed to keep the objective lens completely free of frost. As my warm room isnt finished yet, my laptop was out in the observing section, I took the precaution of covering it over with a piece of board when I went in the house, and good job too, as the board was covered with a good layer of frost.

It's is supposed to be warming up at the weekend apparently....

-8degrees here (300m high in the Pennines) at 11am when I came in to thaw out. Needed heaters for the scope and for the EP's .. and for my feet
