COCOON NEBULA IC 5146

[CELESCOPE]

Not a good night last night everything went wrong , taking the image was ok , but mega problems with the maxim processing , i finally overcome the problem this morning,((i think ) well at least it worked , anyway the Cocoon looked great on the puter screen ,so figured i did not need many subs , just 30 at 60 secs each sub.

Used the Atik 16hr and the Ha filter, binned 2x2 then processed in MAXIM, not much processing needed on this one ,as it came out ok

I know how things can go wrong during and after a session. Some nights it's more like work than a hobby... . I really think you've done a fine job on this one...I tried it once and got very poor results..the hardest target for me. VG image...
