Geminids dec 17th 2009 south wales

hey all since all the cloud is over the east of the country wales is clear for the night and i want to have a look at the geminids tonight so what is the best time to go and have a look?? and its kind of the end of the shower tonight so do you think it will be worth a gander??

Sorry to say but i dont think you stand much chance of seeing many (if any) Geminids. They are pretty much past their sell by date by now.On any given night of the year you will usually see a few meteors but i really dont think you will see any Geminids (slow and bright) now.

It is always worth keeping an eye out though. You never know what you may see.

I was totally clouded out last weekend for the Geminids and saw ZERO of them. In the past 2 years i saw loads and they were spectacular. They are my favourite meteors of the year.
