Flaming star Ha

This is an early evening job before the Rosette gets up. It's the Ha channel with the RGB to be added another night. Now busy getting SII and OIII for a Rosette narrowband. The sky is holding off the cloud for longer than expected. The guiding is all over the shop tonight and not sure of the reason.

8x15mins 7nm Baader Ha filter. FSQ106 and QSI 532. Captured with Maxim. Dark calibrated and debloomed in Maxim. Stacked and deconvolved in CCDstack and finished in PS.

I'm pleased with the dim nebulosity in the bottom left of the image. Looking forward to getting the RGB now.

Looks great Martin, don't know how the guiding is awry mate, it doesn't show in this work. Nice to know you are making progress though, and this one will be fab. with a coat of RGB.

Can't wait for the Rosette NB to arrive too.

Too misty for me tonight Martin but the 2hours you spent were worth it and you've almost got it all in frame. Strong contrast especially at the bottom of image with lovely deep waves. John.
